International trade award for Arrowsmith engineering

Our international achievements were recognised again last night when we were named as Business Desk West Midlands’ International Trade winner at its prestigious Masters Awards.

Prior to the pandemic, Arrowsmith Engineering had recorded a 996% increase in export activity over the last three years, supplying precision components to global manufacturers including Rolls-Royce, GKN, ITP and Siemens.

Parts manufactured in our Coventry facility are used in aerospace engines, landing gears and air frames, with recent wins seeing sales rise to £7.9 million and expansion in Brazil, Germany, Singapore, Spain and the United States.

“2020 has been a very tough year and this latest award is a fantastic pick-me-up for the entire business,” explained Jason Aldridge, Managing Director of Arrowsmith Engineering.

“The West Midlands is a big exporting region, so for us to be named as the best of the best in this field is a great achievement and testament to our efforts in building international relationships through a combination of trade visits and strategic partnerships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.”

He continued: “This is just the start and we have ambitious plans to use our role in the Aero Services Global Group to increase international sales even further – this award, coupled with our Queen’s Award success – will certainly help raise our profile in new markets.”
